Director of Business Development

Digital Graffiti (www.digitalgraffiti.tv) is looking to for a seasoned sales executive with a proven track record to help expand their post production business in Knoxville, TN. This individual’s success will be directly tied to the development and implementation of a sales strategy in TV post-production services and a desire to research and innovate the sales process.

Digital Graffiti has a bold sense of pride and desires to provide and be a key player in post-production services. We’re looking for somebody with intelligence, endless energy, and a compelling need to achieve.

The business development professional will have these primary responsibilities:

 

1. Identifying new sales leads

2. Pitching clients and negotiating post production services

3. Grow on your current list of sales contacts

4. Maintaining relationships with existing customers

 

The day-to-day job responsibilities include:

• Researching organizations and individuals online (especially on social media) to identify new leads and potential new markets.

• Expanding, building, and refining your existing sales contacts and clients

• Researching the needs of other companies and learning who makes decisions about purchasing

• Contacting potential clients via email or phone to establish rapport and set up meetings

• Be an expert in planning and overseeing new marketing initiatives

• Attend and participate in conferences, meetings, and industry events, as directed

• Maintain a deep understanding of current TV and online production trends and innovations.

• Work cross-functionally with post-production, operations, and finance teams.

• Be the subject matter expert for all Digital Graffiti offerings and advantages in the marketplace.

• Preparing PowerPoint presentations and sales displays

• Contacting clients to inform them about new developments in the company’s products/services

• Developing quotes and proposals

• Negotiating and renegotiating by phone, email, and in person

• Meet and exceed revenue goals and activity levels on a quarterly and annual basis

• Provide guidance, training, and expertise as it relates to sales and strategy

 

SKILLS – Experience and Requirements


 A successful Director of Business Development will have the following:

• Bachelor’s Degree and 5+ years of experience and/or equivalent combination of education and work experience

• High executive functioning skills

• Highly self-motivated, self-starter who is resourceful and enthusiastic

• Outstanding client and network relationships

• Experience bringing new service offerings into the market/industry

• Outstanding interpersonal skills and communication skills a must

• Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills
