Job Details

As a Facility Manager, you will oversee and ensure the overall operations of the building, grounds maintenance and safety at

the Aurora, OH facility.

Responsibilities of the Facility Manager position include:




  • Planning, directing, and supervising all technical and administrative aspects of the facility related to building maintenance, grounds maintenance and safety


  • Providing routine maintenance and repairs, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, lighting, general carpentry, cubicles, office furniture, and janitorial; and managing external/outside contractor repairs of such elements as needed and when beyond routine

  • Managing contractors and contracts for the provision of external/outside services


  • Maintaining services in accordance with standards established by PartsSource, as well as federal, state, and local requirements
  • Ensuring all required inspections and certifications by local agencies are timely performed
  • Establishing and maintaining an ongoing inspection program focusing on maintenance, as well as fire and safety
  • Assuming responsibility for all maintenance equipment and maintenance supply purchasing
  • Assisting in testing of generators and emergency equipment with documentation of all testing


  • Assisting in maintenance of boiler

  • Managing and maintaining building alarm system

  • Overseeing external cleaning company

  • Ensuring all electrical equipment meets safety requirements at time of delivery

  • Ensuring facility is clear of safety hazards

  • Other assignments and tasks as requested



Experience and Education:




  • A minimum of 3 years supervisory experience in managing and providing maintenance and related services in an office/commercial environment


  •  High School Degree or GED equivalent


  • Additional attributes: Must be able to perform physical work including lifting, use of ladders, as well as mobility and dexterity for basic inspections and repairs throughout the building; Positive, caring and customer-service-oriented attitude
