Tank is a design firm that integrates strategy, design and technology to help companies and organizations create memorable brand expressions across multiple channels. 

While we are always on the look out for talented developers of all levels, our Cambridge, MA studio is currently seeking an exceptional Senior Web Developer to support our continued growth. Tank’s developers are responsible for collaborating effectively with internal teams, external teams, and the client in order bring beautiful design to life.

What you’ll do for Tank:

  • Lead our development offering for one of our largest client teams.
  • Bring design systems to life by building prototypes and digital style guides.
  • Work with our clients, advising them on Tank's technical approach.
  • Collaborate with visual and UX designers, content writers, account managers, other developers, and clients on technical projects.

  • 3+ years front-end, responsive, web development experience (HTML, JavaScript, CSS).
  • 2+ years experience leading technical projects for enterprise level clients.
  • 1+ years of professional experience working in a related industry including: Graphic Design, Advertising, Marketing, or Web Design.
  • The flexibility to code and lead.
  • Good experience with modern front-end workflow processes and tools (Gulp, NPM, Grunt, Webpack, Sass).
  • Good experience working with a JavaScript framework such as React.
  • Git mastery.
  • Experience with application level programming such as Java, PHP or ASP.NET.
  • An understanding of the web development process including requirements gathering, application design, and quality assurance.
  • Great written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present and communicate technical subjects to a non-technical audience.
  • Experience working with ECMS's such as AEM or Drupal a huge plus.
  • College degree
