The Clark-Ito Group, Inc., has partnered with a well-established entertainment guild in the greater Los Angeles area to recruit and hire a charismatic, productive, and smart associate level professional to recruit, lead, and manage a prestigious paid training program, as well as shoulder the responsibilities of employee relations, community outreach, and training and development.  This is a fantastic opportunity for someone desiring to make a positive impact while working on a small but dynamic team with great exposure to executives from major studios.

 

Requirements

What you will be doing for our client

 Lead and manage annual recruitment process, which includes all activities related to recruiting and on-boarding.   Seek innovative ways of recruiting applicants for the program, as well as participate in community outreach to help raise awareness of the program.   Work closely with the Executive Director of HR in proactively foreseeing potential employee relations issues, as well as thoroughly investigate to successful resolution.  You will also collaborate with senior management in designing programs focused on retention of those who enter the program.  Of course, other “projects” are included.

 

What you bring to the table

An understanding of passion for human resources with a focus on talent acquisition/recruitment (or business development if you have experience from a search firm/agency) and training and development.  Our client also seeks someone that has a basic understanding of how to handle employee relations investigations.  Exposure to motion picture and/or the television industry is highly favored.  Most important, a strong work ethic, ability to roll up your sleeves, work independently while being transparent, understand the importance of building trust with everyone within an organization, and overall, has an intense desire to contribute, learn, and grow, is what we are looking for.

 

This is a full-time, exempt (salaried) position that offers employer paid medical, dental, pension benefits and parking.  A background verification will be administered at the final offer stage.
